24 year-old Marva Wright is the newly crowned Miss Costa Rica 2010 held in Hacienda Pinilla, Guanacaste - She will compete in Miss Universe 2010

Marva Wright, a 24-year old student of Physiotherapy from Villas de Ayarco, has been crowned Miss Costa Rica 2010 during the 50th anniversary of the pageant held in Hacienda Pinilla, Guanacaste. The 1.77 m beauty will compete in Miss Universe 2010.

GUANACASTE, April 16 - Marva Wright, a 24-year old student of Physiotherapy, was crowned Miss Costa Rica 2010 during the 50th anniversary edition of the pageant, held at Hacienda Pinilla in Guanacaste and transmitted live to the entire country via Teletica.

Marva stands 1.83 m in height and will represent Costa Rica at the 2010 Miss Universe pageant, its date and venue still to be announced.

The 1st runner-up was Yazmin Zuniga, while the 2nd and 3rd runner-ups were Natasha Campos and Guiselle Aragon. 10 women competed in the contest.

The winner was decided through an extra final question, due to a tie. Marva was asked about the things money can buy, to which she answered that "Money provides us many benefits and helps us go through our needs and to help others; but money will never be able to buy love; that comes from within ourselves".
