Biography
Bethany was born in Wichita, and spent the first five years of her life in Rose Hill. She and her family then moved to Winfield, Kansas where they still reside. The 20-year-old is a junior at the University of Oklahoma majoring in Industrial Engineering. Bethany is working toward her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and hoping to obtain experience working with broadcasting companies. She is a member of the Theta Gamma chapter of Delta Delta Delta as well as the OU Society of Women Engineers and OU Engineers Without Borders. Bethany has also been actively involved with St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and raising awareness for Invisible Children.
In her free time, Bethany enjoys spending time with her family and her dogs, teaching herself to play acoustic guitar, and working out. She loves reading, running, traveling and watching movies. Bethany and her older brother Beau are the children of Dennis and Lynn Gerber.
