Miss Spain 2010
TOLEDO, Sep. 25 - 21 year old Paula Guilló, Miss Teruel, was crowned Miss Spain 2010 during the annual gala held at the City Hall Plaza in Toledo (in the outskirts of Madrid) on September 25th.
Always one of the top favorites, Paula, who is a student and model, stands 1.81 m in height and will represent Spain at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant to be held possibly in Vietnam next June.
The 1st runner-up or "1ra dama de honor" is Miss Las Palmas, Carla García Barber. The 19-year old who is a student of medicine, stands 1.76 m tall and will compete at the Miss World 2011 contest to be held later next year.
Meanwhile, the 2nd runner-up was Miss Bizkaia, 18-year old Celia Calvo. The 1.75 m beauty will represent Spain in the 2010 Miss Earth pageant to be held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, December 4th.
Completing the runner-ups were the misses from Tenerife, Sevilla and A Coruña, who will represent the country in the Miss International, Reina Hispanoamericana and International Queen of Coffee pageants.
The Miss Spain 2010 pageant was moved to September after signing a deal with Antena Nova TV, which marked the return of the event to television after an absence of one year. The changed of date prompted organizers to hold a casting call to select their representatives to Miss Universe and Miss World 2010.

Miss España 2010 Paula Guilló
Paula Guilló is the new Miss España 2010 or Miss Universe Spain 2011. She was crowned last night September 25th at a gala in the city hall square in Toledo. 52 beauties has been vying for the crown.
First Maid of Honour elected was Carla García, 20, from Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, and second Maid of Honour chosen was Celia Eugenia Calvomiss, 17, from Bizkaia in the Basque Country.
Six girls got through to the finals, with three from Sevilla, Tenerife and La Coruña in addition to Guilló and her two Maids of Honour.
Paula Guilló of Teruel is 20 year old and stand 5’11” (1.81 m). She will represent Spain in Miss Universe 2011
